Wilhelmsen Group, which is one of the leading
ship agents in the world handling in excess of
50,000 port calls globally, from 2200 ports in
116 countries. WSS is headquartered in Oslo and
operates a network of national based companies
organized into Four main regional groups.

Black Sea regional group, which is a
headquartered in Dubai.
Barwil
Egytans Shipping Agencies is an Egyptian
registered company and is a fully licensed ship
agent, since 1996 when the Egyptian agency
market first permitted foreign agents to enter
the market. Barwil Egytrans management is all
located within Egypt and is exclusively
responsible for all activities in Egypt. With a
complement of about 200 staff in total, located
in Alexandria Head office, Port Said, Suez,
Damietta and Cairo. We currently handle
abt.
2000 vessel appointments in Egypt per annum.
Under the guidance of an ex-patriate General
Management and with a very experienced local
operations team, the company has achieved an
established track record of quality performance
in Suez Canal transit agency, Port Call agency,
Liner Logistics (agents for
Norasia Line) and
Marine Service Provision for almost all vessel
types. EGYTRANS owns 30% of
Barwil Egytrans.
